I am DJ Zac Barr and I have been entertaining people in the Greater Capital region for over 15 years now. I got my start in 1988 singing and DJing in campgrounds and night clubs in the Albany/Saratoga area.
In 1992, I joined forces with another area DJ to form AlterEgo Productions, a DJ/Karaoke company which specialized in offering the very best of Karaoke in the Capital Region.
In 1994, I struck out on my own with the philosophy of providing outstanding Disc Jockey services at a reasonable price, specializing in "family-oriented" entertainment for people of all ages. I have spent the last 10-plus years entertaining people at weddings, reunions and other family events, and DJing at various clubs and bars in the
I have also been a regular performer at many of the area's finest camping resorts. Among the campgrounds where I have performed throughout the years are: Alpine Lake Camping Resort, Beaver Spring Lake Campground, Camp Waubeeka Family Campground, Cold Brook Campsites, Frosty Acres Campground, Jellystone at Paradise Pines, Lake George/Schroon Valley Resort, Lake George Escape and McConchie's Heritage Acres.
I am also well known for my "silly-set" and for my interaction with the crowd. With my experience and talent, I am your DJ choice for any event. I work regularly to improve my craft and skills.
I work hard to invest myself in the community as well. I have worked since 2004 with the Neighborhood Watch groups of Cohoes, donating my DJ services for their annual National Night Out event. I have also donated my efforts to the Alyssa Bouchey Scholarship Fund, and to the Cohoes Girls Softball League among others. It is a pleasure and honor to donate my time to causes that are close to my heart and the hearts of the community around me.
